I have the set she used, but since I bought this new Tea Together set, I wanted to use it instead. I kept the stripes but painted them on my base instead of on my main panel. My dots are splatters rather than part of dp. I kept a lot of pink but added in blues to the green.
I painted the flowers and teapot using a paint brush and ink from inkpads mixed with a bit of tea (yes, I was too lazy to get up and get some water and had a bit of tea left in a glass - seemed fitting).
This is going to my Sister - she will love it.
Many hugz, Diana! Hope you enjoy your week! Thanks for the inspiration.

What a beautiful card this is! I adore these colors and the wonderful splatters too. I am a tea lover so I chuckled about you painting with tea water - how fun! Your sister will love that too! ~Karen.

Love the teapot image and what a terrific Mother's day card Nancy. I am way behind in Mother's day cards, have not even started and I need 7. UGH I need to get on the ball!
