It's time for a new Color Challenge! Jeanne is hosting this week and has chosen Daffodil Delight, Grapefruit Grove and Berry Burst, with a dessert option to add sparkle. For my card, I've also used the SC742 sketch.
I knew I wanted to use a bouquet of some sort to work with the CC colors and went looking some of my older stamps. I found a sweet wood stamp from the Lockhart Stamp Co. (now out of business) that I probably bought eight or nine years ago and I'm unsure if I ever used it, so I decided this was the time.
Because the image is so small, I decided the best way to color it was with Prismacolor colored pencils. After die cutting and mounting on a Daffodil layer, it was adhered to the scored and die cut panel and the sentiment added. I added sparkle by using a shimmer pen on the flowers and by adding a few iridescent jewels.
Thanks for looking and I hope you'll be able join the Color Challenge this week!

Your coloring on that tiny boquet is just fabulous, and you have designed thus card beautifully. The thin, scalloped oval frame is tge perfect choice to highlight the lovely flowers. Tge scored lines add so much interest . Wonderful card.
