It's time for a new Color Challenge and Karen is hosting this week. She has chosen the combination of Crushed Curry, Bermuda Bay, Night of Navy, and Poppy Parade, with a dessert option to include feathers. Truthfully, it took me a while to decide what I wanted to make with this color combo, and by then I totally forgot about dessert!!
I settled on using some fun Tim Holtz images to make a birthday card for my BIL, and the colors worked perfectly! I used Copics to color, die cut the dog, hat and sentiment, then added it all to a panel of Bristol lightly ink blended with Fossilized Amber Distress ink. I used a Warm Gray copic to create shadows under the dog before adhering.
Thanks for looking and I hope you'll join the Color Challenge this week!

Stef this card is wonderful. I love the Crazy Dogs stamps and you did a great job using the colors and coloring this one. And your wacky stitched panel sets off the image perfectly!

What a great card for any age and any gender! :-) Love your colouring and the layered hat! The shadows under the dog really add dimension and are so well done! Super card Stef!

WOW Stef.....You transferred that a image into something special with that CC color palette. How adorable. I love it. Hard to find a decent dog image but that one is just perfect. Another thing.......I have not been on my computer much lately but recently read that you liked my CC card the best from last week. Thanks so much......that was a surprise to me. Glad you liked it.
