Polly has a terrific Teaparty for us this week. We are making a scene and sending paper hugs to our dear friend Tonda.
The background was made using the smack & squirt technique - smack distress ink pad onto aluminium foil, squirt on heaps of water and scrub the inky puddles onto the cardstock.
To mask the moon, I placed a 3.5" circle die on a 5.5" piece of cardstock, keeping both the negative and positive die-cuts. When I got top the purple part of the sky I placed the circle mask on the cardstock and scrubbed on the purple ink.
I then used the negative of the die to cover the purple sky and applied silver VersaColor to make the moon.
The silhouette stamping would be impossible without my MISTI. Initially I used Memento Luxe (about 5 inkings), then I did 4 more inkings using Versafine onyx black.
I used Sabrina's terrific TLC615 challenge to make the tree trunk awning. Lots of sparkly Stickles were added, doodled a border, then adhered to a kraft card base.
I hope all of our cards will bring lots of smiles to Tonda. I wish we could all have a Teaparty together in real life!!
Thank you for looking and I hope you are having a happy, inky week.

Great fairy scene Miss Susie and what a terrific awning you create with the tree. I love it! I am sure all the sparkle looks great IRL. Tonda will sure love this card in the mail to cheer her up.

I have learnt so much from looking at your wonderful, magical scenes. Fascinated by all the work you put into your wonderful cards. Great job of getting two Lavinia fairies into the one card. Definitely an A+ card in my books.
