It is with great pleasure that I case a card of this weekâs featured stamper, Marge Yoon! Julie, you choose a wonderful artist and a very sweet person for this weekâs honor. Margeâs gallery is filled with magnificent art and it was difficult to select one to case. I started browsing at the beginning of her gallery, selected a few cards to case, and then narrowed it down to this magnificent card. Marge, I hope my card shows honor to your great work.
I used a different stamp set than Marge used, although they have similar names and are the same brand. The stamp set she used for the main image is Simon Says Stamp (SSS) Beautiful Flowers 2, and the one I used is SSS Beautiful Flowers. Our colors, cardstock, sentiment, and sequins are different. I did try to use her design.
Water coloring definitely is not my forte; however, I wanted to use the same technique that talented Marge used. Therefore, I watercolored my images. I splattered white and magenta paint around the card, added the sentiment from the same stamp set, and attached sequins.
Thanks for taking the time to view my card!
