I started with my foil tape background, cutting numbers and stars (also MFT) from chipboard and sticking them to a piece of card. Then I added my strips of foil, and burnished round ask the die-cuts with a stylus. Rather than the usual black I used gold and white acrylic paints and then brushed on some rusty patina finish. I added more white paint around the edges, Stickles, and white Enamel Accents, then added it to my card base.
The Penny Black image was stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with Inktense pencils.

Fabulous numbers background technique...love the texture. Little mice birthday party...sweet coloring and image. Love the opposites look...bold background/ soft image!
