Well, luckily I DO own one car image for today's challenge A is for Automobile. (and as I have 5 brothers this will get plenty of use throughout the year.) My personal challenge is to come up with varied backgrounds for each. Today, I cut a stencil from copy paper with a TH Alterations die, laid over my card base and sponged with turquoise. Added the sentiment and embossed. I stamped the Classic car in black, colored with prismacolor pencils followed with gamsol to blend and finished with Silver WOS for all the chrome parts. My 4th brother's first car was Yellow (though not a ragtop) so I'm betting this will bring back some memories for him...This gear has been floating around my desk for a while now so added it in the corner just to use up something old in the new year.

Beautiful car and I like the idea to use the same image but showcase them differently, on this one the stenciled background and the gear fits perfect here!!

I never remember to use those TH dies for stencils. How will I remember? It makes a fab background, and certainly a great card for your brother. The singing sisters have five brothers too? I didn't realise you were from such a large family, Linda! That must keep you busy with cards.

How fortunate that you had that gear hanging around just waiting to get stuck to the perfect card. I love your fun stenciled background which looks so good with your fun classic car. Your brother will totally love this fun card!

Your home made stencil looks great and I'm sure your brothers will enjoy receiving cards made with this muscle car! You could always make them in each of their favorite colors...just a suggestion~

That's a great classic car image (Mustang, maybe?) and your stenciled background is perfect with it. I like the turquoise and yellow color choice. Your sentiment is perfect!
