This is first off for this week's Featured Stamper: Michele (The Cow Whisperer). What a fun gallery. I watched a couple of her videos - she does a lot! I was wanting to send a note to my MIL and Michele's CAS design on this card caught my eye: Rustic Clean & Simple Rooted in Nature by The Cow Whisperer at Splitcoaststampers
I kept her same basic layout and used tall evergreens. I added a sentiment and an extra twine bow and the pearls and used DSP in place of her embossed panel. I did some of that to work for last week's color challenge, this week's Inspiration and the CAS challenge: Bring Out Your Pearls.
I loved Michele's tips on sponging - and sponge away I did.

Oh,my goodness!!!! This is lovely...I’m sighing as I admire the lush, multi-strand bow you fashioned out of linen thread. It’s the perfect design element to draw the eye to your sentiment. How ever did you come up with this? And those pearls? Perfectly placed! Another sigh...of appreciation and awe at at your talent.
Your take on the inspiration piece totally blows me away. I’m tucking this puppy into my favs to study later. TFS!

I Love this one, Michelle, and I can totally see why it got on the favorites list! Your linen thread and sentiment panel are just Perfect! I'm a fan of sponging, as I do it quite often on my cards...it adds just the right touch so many times~
