Two cards. One is a flourish or medallion stamped with Brusho on white card, and then I used the inlaid twine tutorial with MFT ornament dies, and a sentiment from LOTV, matting the panel with gold glitter card. The second card is SU's Pine Bough ef on kraft, rubbed over with green pencils. The ornament is another MFT die cut from a piece of card with double-sided adhesive on it. I then coiled twine working from the outer edge in. Another LOTV sentiment, and more gold glitter card for matting.
Toni has a link to the Twine Inlay tutorial as well as several other great suggestions in the challenge post.

Sabrina, the ornament die shapes coordinated so wonderfully to the variegated pattern of the inlaid twine and have a vintage look. The brusho background is soft and pretty.
The texture of the pine boughs complements the coiled ornament marvelously. Both cards are beautiful, especially with the touches of gold.

Wow, Sabrina! These turned out really great! I've seen this technique done before and I didn't think it would be very good. You, though have made this inlaid twine look elegant! The background on the blue, green, yellow one is fabulous and the string work is so nice and tight! The pine branch one is my favorite! The ornament is so nice and tightly spiraled to where you would not know it wasn't made that way by a machine! You are a machine my friend!

Sabrina, these turned out fabulous! I want to reach out and touch the circle ornament! I love the way the baker's twine looks in a circle. The shape ornaments are super cool too! Beautiful cards!

I love these beautiful holiday cards! The gold glitter is an especially nice touch! I'm not sure how you got your round ornament to be so perfect, but I think it's amazing!

Two very beautiful creations, Sabrina. WOW you have a lot of patience to make 3 ornaments out of twine. The gold embellishments are so rich and pretty...lovely holiday cards. Gorgeous enough to hand on your tree for decorations.
