I turned this week's lovely sketch on its side for my beach scene. I sponged distress inks over different areas of the image moving the masks around as necessary. The outer frame is also sponged with DI as if the scene had been extended under the pale blue embossed panel. The little sail was whitened with the gel pen. It was also used to highlight the boat's wake.

What a cool idea using that EF with the beautiful scene you created, like sunshine rays, I so would LOVE to be there right now and recoup, (yucky head cold), but being here I am sure would make things better...:0)....

This is so beautiful. What a peaceful beach scene, and I love your coloring of the beach image. The bg embossing is perfect too. A great way to use the sketch!

Love how you extended your scene onto your card base. It provides such a great visual balance. Your embossing and colored images are fantastic. So serene.
