Coloring alert! Oh my, painting pumpkins is all the rage! There are so many wonderful ideas for painting pumpkins! If you know me, I could color forever! I have a new paper pad that was my color palette, and I absolutely love these colors and the patterns.
I printed the "blank canvas" version of this new digi, colored it up, and did some "doodling" of my own. I used my Mini MISTI and curved the sentiment to match the shape of the large pumpkin. Cute, eh? I used an oval die to cut out my focal image, and then I embossed that die on the card stock and fussy cut it to make a thin mat for the oval (using Copic BG72 to match the designer paper). Works like a charm. Then I put the papers together, matted it, and I added a couple of fishtail flags. I'm enjoying using some designer paper lately...and I do have a lot of it...and am surely not alone, right?! Ha!
I just realized that my card is perfect for the September Dirty Dozen theme, "Cutting Class." I sure cut some dies and did some serious fussy cutting. But now there's a fabulous new Dirty Dozen theme, "Once Upon a Time." You must check it out and see who the new Dirty Girls are!
Thanks so much for taking a closer look at my card, and I hope you all a wonderful week! You are dearly loved! Hugs, all! xoxo
