It is so exciting these days when I actually complete a card and get it posted. I frequently color something during my short lunch break during the week at work...this week I got as close as I could to the coloir challenge colors. Then when I had a little time today, I looked at the lovely photos on the IC site and got this idea for my bg. Here is the inspiration photo...well, I am still with out my laptop and cannot cut and paste with this old Samsung tablet. The photo is a close up of orange rocks that have wonderful textures and colors in them with green grass peeking through. The colors and texture of the rocks inspired my bg. Will be back tonight for some gallery gazing and commenting. TFL, Francie

Gorgeous soft background with that stencil, Francie. I totally love your layout - it reminds me of those old tapestry bell-pulls in the days of servants. Such a brilliant use of the spiral, and the bow looks fantastic.
