Hello, sweet friends! Well, Brenda, I love your Inspiration Challenge this week with the right inspiration for me to inspire me with this new digital image. (I'm sure I could be inspired by many of these flags for lots more cards.) I have to admit that orange is NOT my favorite color by far - haha! But I do love pumpkins. This beautiful garden flag inspired me (among several others). Of course, I love when I can add an encouraging Scripture verse, which makes it a special card for me to send.
I printed the focal image large enough and the Scripture verse next to it in landscape mode - and then began coloring. I didn't really know what I would do with it after I finished coloring (which is my normal "wing-it" mode - haha!), but I found this lovely plaid DP that I think works. I also ended up using Tangerine Tango, and I think I've never used it before. I colored with Copic markers, but I did use a very sharp olive green colored pencil to fill in the "everything beautiful" in the sentiment (not that you could see it though).
Still cleaning and getting our house back in order, which has been a lot of work. But it was good because we got to meet our newest neighbors who are a real joy. They came over for a quick "get acquainted" visit, and we ended up chatting for nearly four hours. The neatest thing was that the guys really have so much in common and talked a lot, and we gals were thrilled about that. She is a sweetheart, and we hope to get together with just us girls.
Thanks for taking a closer look at my card, and I hope you all a wonderful and blessed week! Hugs! xoxo

Love your image and sentiment, and the plaid frames it beautifully. I’ve been thinking about you a lot lately Cheryl. It’s our “Punpkin’s” birthday on Friday, so it looks like another trip to Hershey’s to tour the chocolate factory!
Take care my friend!

Wow, Cheryl! This autumn card is stunning! It is such an eye catcher that it jumps off the page at you. I love your coloring of the beautiful pumpkin, flowers, and foliage! The pattern paper is gorgeous and goes so well with the image. Outstanding work my precious friend! Hugs! BTW, thank you so very much for your sweet comment on my site!
