Anita offers us a wonderful tutorial to try out this week. This card won't be my tickle - I'll upload that after work. But I've always wanted to try her book cards, and made this to give to a friend. It was super fun to make, and much easier than I was expecting. So even if you don't find the fold practical for mailing for a tickle, I encourage you to try it out for a card you will be hand delivering. I made another one for my niece and was able to fit a bar of handmade soap inside.
I used some marbled paper for the flyleaf. My images were stamped with masking on white card, and coloured with pencil. The only thing I did different to Anita's tutorial was that I sponged the edges of the pages after scoring but before assembling, and I cut a frame the same size to lay on the top layer to make it look like one page.
