Brenda (Benzi) is hosting today's Inspiration Challenge, and she selected a wonderful site from which to draw inspiration. The site features gorgeous decorative flags. Great site, Brenda! Thank you!
I chose this flag for my inspiration. I selected it because of the daisies.
To make this card, I cased this beautiful card that I saw on Power Poppy. The artist, Amy Shulke, was showing how to use the chisel nib of Copic markers to create art. She was offering a class to teach her technique, however, I did not get to take it. Therefore, I tried casing her card just by viewing it. Her technique is one I certainly will try again.
The colors I used for the card are not the same as the inspiration piece; however, it represents the beautiful daisies on the flag.
A heartfelt thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment! I'll return the favor!

Bev, your take on Amy's card is absolutely gorgeous! The colors of the chisel background are perfect for fall and frame the white daisies so well. Beautifully done!

How did I miss this!!! Wow Bev this is incredible, who needs lessons when you can produce this. The technique looks great hey, but it is your colouring that brings it to life. You must be thrilled to bits with this gem my friend.

Bev, your card is beautiful. I love the background. It is nice to know there is a purpose for the chisel end of the copics and I assume there is more, I just have never used mine. Good to see you back posting your cards. Hugs.
