I have been looking at the daily challenges all week and playing in as many as time allows. This week's teapot challenge is for our very sweet Carol (BobbiesGirl). She has filled her gallery with beautiful projects since 2007 and I wanted to take part in sending her some cheer. I used this week's sketch and went for EXTRA CREDIT with envelope art! My card isn't quite as tall as the sketch but it's thin at 3 5/8 and as tall as the envie I have to mail it in.
For the teapot challenge, I was inspired by the blue background in the teapot phot and the recycled element is netting from a vegetable bag used as a stencil once the wrinkle free background was dry.

Angie, how absolutely beautiful. The stencilling is amazing - it looks more like some dry-embossing adding texture. I'm glad I left commenting till I could see this on the big screen and admire it properly.

What a truly gorgeous card this is. You sure achieved a gorgeous shade of blue with your wrinkle free distress and the texture you added from the netting is just amazing. Thank you so much for the inspiration on this too! I absolutely love this dandelion flower blowing in the wind with this wonderful die cut sentiment. Carol will treasure this beautiful card you made for her. ~Karen.

I love the image and verse together. It makes me think of the dandelion fluff being prayers sent out into the wind! Beautiful blue on this! I always forget to decorate the envelope!
