Stacy, you selected an awesome site from which to draw inspiration! I selected this image for my inspiration.
With VersaMark Ink, I stamped the Mondo Sakura floral image onto a piece of watercolor paper, covered it with white embossing powder, and heat set it. The wall painting includes colors of gray, pink, and white. I used two pink distress inks to sponge over the entire panel of watercolor paper. With a water brush and water, I removed much of the ink from the image until I got a light pink color. Next, I used pink Copics to outline the image and a gray Copic on various places of the image.
To finish the card, I splattered water onto the panel and added the sentiment and sequins.

Bev, this is gorgeous! The sponging around the flower gives this so much depth. So good to see one of your marvelous creations in the gallery. Missed you!

Bev, using water to lift color worked beautifully on these gorgeous blossoms, then outlining them with a pink Copic really made them pop from the background! Love how your gorgeous card turned out!

Beautiful floral image embossed in white, Bev! I like the way you outlined it in the darker pink; makes it take center stage! I like the subtle splatters in your bg~
