This is my card for today's Memories are Made of... Teapot Tuesday Challenge. If you want to find out why we are sending our cards to Mary this week check out the link.
If you would like anybody to be the honoree of a tea-party (aka a card showers, no strings attached), check out the forum where there's a thread where you can request a tea-party.
I die-cut the aperture in the kraft paper, drew the outline onto my white base and stamped the poppies twice, colouring them with pencils. Masked them and stamped the text, then spattered gold.
The humming bird was stamped on a scrap of clingwrap background, with a little pencil detail added for the red throat, and I covered it with SN clear glitter pen. Stamped it again on the white base, coloured it in silver and then added Stickles, hoping that it would look like the blur of motion.

Have always liked poppies and they have the Vets give poppies ---not real--on a wire when you give a donation to them. Your hummer is beautiful and the droplets of gold just add to your card.

What a wonderful card this is Sabrina. I love all the techniques you employed to make this card (I am always blown away with everything you tuck into one card). I adore this kraft dsp with the gold foil detail and how you added gold splatters to your image panel to tie the 2 together. Mary is going to be thrilled with this gorgeous card you made for her Sabrina. ~Karen.
