This is one of the cards I made as a sample for this week's WTUI challenge, which you will be able to find HERE. See the challenge post for a link to the tutorial I used.
I found it hard to get a good picture of this, and as I wanted to mail it this morning, it's too late to keep on trying. I used MariLynn's tutorial to create my leaves, cutting them with IO dies and rubbing them with Craft-T metallic rub-ons. I stamped the verse and then manually embossed parts of the leaf ef to create a frame around it. I rubbed them lightly with Versamark and buffed in some Perfect Pearls in pearl, just to highlight the embossing. I added some little scraps of gilding flakes for autumnal shimmer. Last minute addition, I stamped and pieced a tiny little ladybug down at the bottom.

Sabrina, this is beautiful! The leaves are gorgeous and the sentiment is so meaningful. A friend texted me this verse this week when I was having a down day. Thanks for the reminder once again!

Oh, Sabrina, what a beautiful card! I loved reading how you made this card, and I love the beautiful leaves. What a wonderful idea to use Versamark and buff on some pearl powder. Love that look...but that sweet ladybug is darling at the bottom. Of course, the best part is this wonderful verse of comfort from Matthew. Beautifully done, my friend! You are such an inspiration in so many ways! Hugs and love! xoxo
