Karen is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has given us some beautiful colors to work with: Berry Burst, Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive. The dessert option is A Touch of Gold.
It's also the wonderful, week-long celebration known as Dare to Get Dirty, a special even for Splitcoast Fan Club members. This card is a perfect entry for Teresa's and Stacy's challenges, so I'm entering it there, too.
When the Persian Motifs stamp set came out, I ordered it right away! It has been over a year, I'm sure. Have I ever used this set? Even once? I have not! When I saw Karen's colors, the set came to mind, and I think it was a good choice.
I stamped the flowers with VersaMark ink on Bristol paper, sprinkled with gold embossing powder, and heat set. Then I painted the flowers and leaves with my Zig markers and a waterbrush. I did a light cream wash with Antique Linen Distress Oxide ink and a paint brush and lots of water.
I die cut the "miss you" greeting from self-adhesive gold sparkle paper, and attached it to the front of the card. Popped this panel up on a Berry Burst card base with foam tape, and added a few Nuvo drops here and there.
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!
Accessories: Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, water brush, paint brush, gold embossing powder, heat gun, Nuvo Drops (Rhubarb Crumble and Bottle Green), A Tag for All Elle-ments dies (Avery Elle), Gold Deco Sheets (Tim Holtz), foam tape

Beautiful! The colors are wonderful and the fact it is a one layer card mostly is awesome. Simply beautiful. Thanks for playing in my DTGD challenge this year!
