For Dina's Pop of Red MIXed media challenge, to create a neutral or cool background and add a pop of red. Today neutral said Bisters to me, so I made a background on watercolour paper. Stamped the silhouette grasses in grey. I'd pulled out a dandelion stamp to use, but opted instead for the ef which I got today when I made the rare purchase of a magazine (Papercraft Inspirations). So I stamped the sentiment first, then embossed. Highlighted the embossing with some metallic rub-ons, then added Stickles, and edged the panel in black pen.
I still had some red book page (Brusho acrylic mist, scarlet) left from my poppies last week, so I stamped the butterfly on that, added a little gel pen detailing and popped the wings up on foam, then gave it a coating with a clear glitter pen.

Sabrina, I love that background, it has a misty quality! The red butterfly really stands out, as it is supposed to, and the perfectly coordinated sentiment is sweetly encouraging.
