My best friend works at his husband's farm in Connecticut and he makes the ice cream that they sell at the ice cream stand. If you're within driving distance of Griswold, CT, I recommend the trip to see Sunflowers For Wishes and try the coffee ice cream. The sunflowers will be there until August 5th I think. Anyway, we went yesterday and bought a couple bouquets of sunflowers and had ice cream.
Today's two challenges were perfect for my sunflower mood today! MariLynn's challenge of burned glue made fun centers for my sunflowers and there were so many bees buzzing around the bouquets of flowers yesterday that I couldn't resist drawing some onto my card for Dawn's "Winged Things" challenge.

Absolutely terrific image and coloring Jen and really lovely layout too. I should go back through the sketches past and get inspiration there are some very lovely cards with old sketches.
