I have had this stamp set since it came out but had never inked it. For some reason, it intimidated me. I started a Pinterest board and intended to CASE some of the cards but when I came up with the challenge for Victoria, I knew the theme and the set I wanted to use for her. She is a special SCS sister and I wanted something "classic" for her. Hawaiian, girl, you have a heart bursting with love and caring and we love you.
The card was done mostly with reverse masking and using several colors of distress inks. I followed Tahitian Landscape for inspiration. I used colored pencils to fill in spaces and highlight areas.

Jaw Drop! Wow! This is just gorgeous Jean. I have to say, the end result of this card does not indicated that you were the least bit intimidated by this stamp set. You took it and ran with it. And this definitely looks like a Gaugin painting to me. I am in awe of these gorgeous colors and this amazing tropical scene you have created and I know our loving Sis Victoria will treasure this. This is definitely frameworthy Jean! Hugs! ~Karen.
