Welcome to Splitcoaststampers, Elizabeth, and congratulations on your first upload and on your first time watercoloring. I would never know it and think your card is beautiful! I love your color blocking and the colors you've used! You've finished the card beautifully with the sentiment and the stars. I love it!
I know you'll find lots of inspiration and encouragement here at SCS, and perhaps you might consider joining a challenge found on the Home Page. Here is a link that explains them, Challenges 101. Looking forward to seeing more of your lovely work! Hugs!
P. S. You might want to click HERE for a post full of helpful information. And this is about How To Share Your Art in the Gallery. Lots of great information.

Delightful card - gives me the same warm glow as Elmer the pathwork elephant! Hope you have fun with the class and get to be good friends with your watercolours. Welcome to the gallery!

Great card. I took an online class a few years ago on watercoloring and I have been addicted every since! Your card pattern is amazing and it came out wonderful. Love all the colors.
Welcome to SCS and the gallery - I can't wait to see what you do next!

Your card has a lovely mix of colors! Keep playing with the water color! That is the way you will learn what you like and how the colors behave! Have lots of fun. I have found that an aqua painter is very helpful also especially when using inks.
