This is for the CAS Christmas card challenge which you can find here. I colored the stamp in my MISTI with markers doing just a small bit at a time. I did try and shade the markers directly on the stamp before stamping. I went over the same place many times . When finished I enhanced a bit with pencil, pulling the some blue into the white space. I finished off stamping the sentiment in Versafine Clair (love that stuff) and embossed in clear. Sprinkled a bit of gold frantage for splatter- easier and neater for me too and heat embossed . Thanks for stopping by. Come join the fun.

Great to see your gorgeous card in the gallery. How clever to use th e misti so you can color the image several times with markers....i never color the stamp with markers because I get too light of a lon image. Thanks for the gresst idea. The light dusting of splatter and the heat embossing look lovely.

A beautiful blue poinsettia, Nancy! I love the subtle shades of blue and the muted green leaves. It was worth stamping many times, wasn't it? The results are fantastic! The gold frantage splatter is the perfect finishing touch! Thank you for joining us again at CAS Christmas! Hideko xx
