This card is for two challenges, the Teapot Challenge and the Sketch Challenge.
I decided to do a Celtic border around the frame in keeping with the Teapot Challenge and had done a similar border many years ago on a parchment card.
What happened next unfolded over three days and has just about done my head in.
I think I had six goes at doing the border and had to do two frames because the first one became so ratty from constant rubbing out. I finally got a border I was more or less happy with then just before I had to race off to our local art group AGM I heat embossed and sponged the panel that was to go under the frame.
On my return from the meeting I went to glue some craft foam to the back of the frame laying it down on my craft mat.... OH NO WRONG, WRONG, WRONG... I hadn't cleaned the mat of the sponging ink befor I went out (Something I normally do straight after sponging) and got it all over the frame,
Frame take 7 and this time using my light box I just traced the border onto a new frame, coloured it again and put it all together
I hope who ever gets this likes it, I hate it even if it is the colours I love.
I wanted to use a thistle but didn't have one so went with a dandelion instead.
Thanks for looking
Cheers Marg
