This week's Color Challenge is hosted by Jeanne. She selected the color combination of SU Flirty Flamingo, Bermuda Bay, and So Saffron, with a dessert option of balloons. These colors are a beautiful combination!
I had great fun creating this Surprise Box for the challenge. To create the box, I used the ODBD Surprise Box dies to cut out the box from Bermuda Bay cardstock. Next, I sponged onto a piece of white cardstock Hero Arts Distress Oxides inks that match closely to the color combination. I used the balloon and string stamps from Hero Arts Birthday Celebrations Stamp Set and VersaMark® ink to stamp balloons onto the cardstock. I covered the images with Clear Embossing Powder and melted the powder. That was my first step to include "dessert" on my box (i.e., balloons).
I sponged the same inks onto another piece of white cardstock and use it to cut out balloons, streamers, a small bow, small hearts, a flower, borders, and gift boxes. Using SU Silver Glimmer paper, I die cut some "fireworks". I attached the embellishments to the box and added a sentiment.

A FABULOUSLY, EYE-CATCHING Surprise Box. Your colors are so pretty together...I'm a sucker for balloons, so I am particular partial to your lovely sponged tri-colored balloons, the die-cut sentiment, and lovely die-cut bow! This is absolutely FABULOUS, Bev!

I had a quick glance at this the other day but had to come back and comment. It is just awesome with all the pretty soft colors! This would perk up anyone's celebration and would be cherished. It is one of the best box cards I've ever seen!

This is awesome. I am always so impressed with this box cards, they look amazing and I love the color combo and the way you pulled it together. I've never done a box card, they look time consuming, but this makes me want to give it a try in the future.
