I picked a piece of Asian inspired pattern paper and did the faux silk technique on that. This card is going to an SCS member who has had some challenges lately.

Oh my, this is just so very lovely. I am really impressed with how the faux silk technique turned out on this gorgeous dsp. Wonderful use of gold mirror paper for this sentiment too! Priscilla will be thrilled with this beautiful card you made for her. ~Karen.

I just received this card and I have to tell you, the photo does not do it justice. The background paper colors are so soft and the silk technique gives it such an expensive look and feel. The delicate branches are so pretty and the gold mat and side cut sentiment add so much to the richness of the card. Thank you for the sweet note and beautiful creation, Jean!

WONDERFUL background using the dsp and faux silk technique over! I've thought about this, but never tried it...thanks for sharing this loveliness! The gold foil die-cut words sentiment and sequins are so perfect to finish!
