This technique I drool over on SCS so took a deep breath and had a go myself today! Using a cotton wool ball I chalked the sky in Bashful Blue, for the sea I started with Pacific point, blending down with Not Quite Navy and Tempting Turquoise. A combo of Sahara Sand and Crumb cake completed the beach! I used a Garden Green marker for the grass adding in BBS for the grassy outer panels. Stamped the birds in BBS. Die cut some clouds and punched a sun circle. Before cutting and matting the tags I sponged the sea in a panel across the card centre.

Ok. Thud! I fell over. Please pick me up lol. I read, and reread your steps. This is glorious, beautiful, striking. Could I, might I, possibly even be able to try it? I feel FEAR! Fav'd!

Gorgeous! Love how the color sponging stretches across the tags and the card base. The beach scene continuing on the three tags looks fabulous. Awesome inspiration for the sketch challenge. TFS

What a superb card! I love the gradation of colour you achieved. So nice to see chalk as part of the equation! This is one of my favourite SU stamp sets and so evocative of summer! TFS
