Stacy has a wonderful site to inspire us this weekend for the IC challenge! The colors and textures are amazing! Several projects caught my eye but I kept coming back to THIS one.
I used the wrinkle free distress technique for the background but with a bit of a twist. First I stamped the Lucky Clover onto a piece of plastic packaging and spritzed with water. I tapped the paper in the watery ink in several place but left plenty of white space. Then I did the same with a mix of the Picked Raspberry and Seedless Preserves, tapping the ink in the areas of the cardstock that did not have green. A simple die cut tree and a sentiment from Unity Stamp Co. finished off this bright Christmas card.
I used another sentiment from the Love Bug Christmas kit on the inside and a green ink splatter on the tree die cut inspired me to use it on the inside. To view photos check out My BLOG.
I hope you will play along with the IC650 challenge this weekend!!!

Angie - love it. Been trying to do something myself with a tree whilst watching a recording of the wedding - not the best plan!
This is so eye catching in colours and design.
