So many challenges, so little time. It seems I'm always late to the party but I've decided to upload the cards I create for challenges even if the party is already over and everyone has moved on to the next celebration. I'm just happy to find time to do some creating - and get a few new cards uploaded.
The WT686 challenge to use patterned paper could keep me going for years to come - without ever going to a store. I loved this SU paper when I bought it - so much that I found it hard to use. That gives me the claim to the USEIT2018 challenge. I got lost in the Grandinroad website - pinned so many things that could make amazing cards - but it was this bedding - https://www.grandinroad.com/ledia-qu...covers/1153050 - that made me think of the DSP I used. And I used the photo as my sketch for my card. My unused Verve "Kindness Matters" stamps were calling to me and that fits the Crafters of Faith "kindness" challenge for May perfectly. Simple enough card - added some Stickles to the paper to jazz it up a bit - do people still use Stickles?
The card will go to a dear friend as a thank you.

Great layout to showcase e beautiful paper and still let the sentiment stand out. I use Stickles regularly, still buy it too when colours I use run out.

Nice! I like how you accented the dp with stickles! I have some of this paper too. Love the square shape, which I do not do enough and not sure why, lol.....Thanks for the inspiration!

Just had to jump in with a comment as like you, I find it hard to get the time to actually make a card and get it posted as spring is always a busy time. Love your card layout and the use of the DP and your inspiration. As many mentioned I also have this paper and have always loved it. So nice to see it in a nicely designed card!
