Usually when I make a card it is best described as a creative frenzy...there is not a plan or idea, just a lot of coloring and trying things until something materializes that I either want to post or throw out the window. So, the end result that you see here was a huge surprise for 3 reasons. First, I do not really like sparkly cardstock. Second, I really do not like pink, and I like it even less paired with turquoise. Finally, clowns give me the creeps. I had fun with the popped out top. After coloring the clown, i used a craft knife to cut just the lower half of the clown shirt then colored 2 more of th lower parts and stuck them under the original piece like a petticoat. For the F4A double challenge I made a DOUBLE side step card, used copics and sharpies, added 2 die cut star bursts, and splattered the bg with 2 colors of acrylic paint. The bg was first blended with distress inks so I added this to the CT0418 for the blending theme. TFL, Francie

Oh, Francie, I LOVE all your cards, and I would never think you had "issues" with colors, sparkly paper, or clowns! Haha! But you have once again outdone yourself and delighted us with your amazing coloring. It's fabulous, and I love how you've added the layered to the clowns costume! Brilliant idea! Just love the border with the multiple colors, my friend! You are a total joy, and I also love to read your descriptions! Beautifully and perfectly made!! Hugs and love! xoxo

Wow! This card is just so full of joy and fun! Funny how you say that this is full of elements that you don't really like but you like the finished product. Happens to me often that I'm surprised to like my finished result. I also tend to go in without a plan and throw things at the paper.

Your write up for this gorgeous card made me laugh! Pretty amazing work for using colors you don't like, sparkle you don't like, and clowns you don't like, LOL! I actually don't care for clowns either, but this one is really quite sweet! I especially love the flounces on her dress. Wonderful work!

This is so pretty, Francie, and as usual the story behind the card is just as entertaining as the card! Love the whimsical nature of the card, the fun colors, the use of gold, and yes - the sparkles!!! Faved.

Oh my goodness Francie this is absolutely fantastic! Great image and colors and layering. This totally reminds me of the Teapot Tuesday challenge we have going on this week. You should add that as a keyword, it totally fits the challenge this week.
