It natural beauty challenge time again with Nancy Williams (nwilliams6). This month in honor of earth day, we are recycling. I used some corrugated cardboard on my card.
My first thought was to have some flowers popping out of a hole in the cardboard, but I didn't like how that looked, so switched to butterflies instead. I sponged on the color and then fussy cut them out. I added leaves to make it look like it was an old tree.
The background and the leaves are wrinkle free distress done with distress oxide inks. I combined a couple of sentiments by cutting the words apart.

There's so much life and movement in those butterflies! Wow! What a fun challenge you and Nancy have with each other. You're both created gorgeous art!

Melody...this is a FABULOUS beauty! I love the wrinkle-free distress bg...lovely nature colors and the whitewashed corrugated cardboard bg for the brilliant butterflies and foliage. WOW!
