DD9ABC6F: this week we are on the letter F and my color that begins with F is Flirty Flamingo. I didn't get the double challenge of a face - guess I should have drawn one on one of the polka dots!
MMTPT505: This week's teapot challenge, we are seeing spots. One of the inspiration photos is an adorable polka dotted teapot. I selected ink colors similar to the ones on the teapot - with the addition of Flirty Flamingo and I also added gold for a touch of sparkle.
First I heat embossed the gold spots and then added the other spots randomly. I also used a pencil eraser to add small Bashful Blue polka dots here and there.
I don't have Flirty Flamingo cs so I went direct to paper with my ink pad for the sentiment strip. I heat embossed the sentiment, punched polka dots from coordinating paint chip colors and embossed those with Decorative Dots ef. After adhering the paint chip polka dots to the sentiment strip, I added gold dots with a pen. Did I go overboard on the polka dots?
This was fun to make. Thanks for looking!

Catherine, this is really beautiful. You found a great collection of solid spots to stamp to create a wonderful background - if it were paper I'd want to buy it. The gold just takes it up an extra notch.
