Today we are smiling because Miss Carlene is the newest featured stamper and there is just so much too ooOoh and Aww over. and finally I decided on this gorgeous card and then When I dug out this mixed media die to cut the ( teeny tiny oxagons I decided they were too small and I wanted that pop of colors and textures so, I used this frilly one and thought I was going to go garden for a change and seen this purple sand dollar and thought why not.) other changes were to move the texture band and sentiment down I also did not paper piece all those holes they are still pretty little so I grabbed some markers and just doodled in the wells. Carlene, I hope you like this and enjoy your week. Thanks for this challenge Julie, & tfl.

What a wonderful case of your inspiration - Your colored wells in the die cut really look like stained glass and indeed I thought you had inset pieces of colored acetate before I read your description. Love the purple sand dollar ( and now I know that color means they are alive) and punny sentiment.

Stacy...I'm in LOVE with your card!!! Your frilly "hexagon" mosaic frame is just so perfect overlaying the word print and your faux mosaic coloring adds so much. Then, there's that wonderful, wonderful purple sand dollar and sentiment...with pun very much intended. So much to LOVE...so much to ooh and aah over.
Sorry it too me so long to comment...first time back to computer since knee surgery! TY for sharing your lovely card...grateful that I could lend a very little bit of inspiration!
