Hello, sweet friends! Well, I am "late" again with this new digi, but today's Inspiration Challenge was what finally inspired me to finish my card. It is an unlikely image that inspired me today -- a frog. It's sort of a funny inspiration for flowers, right? Haha! Yes, it was one of the sample ideas that Stacy shared . . . a blue frog on green leaves with some dark gray/black. Since some of Susie Cooper tea cups are found in dark colors with white polka dots, I finished coloring the cup a darker color and used a white gel pen for the polka dots. I added some grounding and some stripes to the tea cloth after I finished coloring it (since I used a regular blue writing pen). Not sure it's my favorite (since I struggled with the darkness and wish I had stopped sooner), but I enjoyed the challenge. I used a new decorative die from Gina Marie Designs to add a bit of frill and then mounted it on a Marina Mist card base. Voila! It is done, and I hope you like it. I think it is growing on me a little. ;)
Remember that spring is next Tuesday! Hugs, all! xoxo

Beautiful job with grounding your teacup, Cheryl! Your polka dots are so sweet and your pretty cloth napkin looks so realistic! Now for those flowers, well, they are just Amazingly colored! I'm impressed~

This is so pretty...I could just look at it all day. Your coloring is fabulous. And I blame you for enabling me with those Gina Marie dies..I got about 5 sets recently, only of them the one you used today. They sure are fun and versatile.

Oh, just beautiful Cheryl!!! Your coloring is lovely. The flowers of the Columbine are so delicate. I had a very good dream last night, it was about flowers. It will be a little bit longer for us though. :>)

I love Columbine flowers and these flowers capture the beauty of them perfectly. Wonderfully coloured Cheryl ... and I love the frame with the dots that mimic the falling seeds and the polka dots on the tea cup. A beautiful card.
