I called this plain Jane because it is not my usual ....use every color I own because I am too lazy to decide on a color scheme. I wanted to try something with beech, but after a long day of scraping gunk off patients teeth, I had no patience left to follow a tutorial. I experimented by using a paper towel to sponge bleech onto an ef and ran it through the Sizzix with blue cs. It left some very subtly light areas on the cs. ...i was hoping for something more, but I forged ahead anyway. Since the cs now looked a little old and worn, I decided to go vintage and sponges some vintage photo ink and gold pigment ink on the raised areas. I colored this tall thin digi image which left enough space to actually see the bg. Added some liquid pearls and gold gel pen details and it was done.
I always like when people add tips, so here is a way to use digi stamps...but you have to have an extra dose of patience if you try it. There are a lot of digital vintage women images on Pinterest, but they are tall and difficult to fit on a card. I used only the top half of one of them when I made this other card awhile ago. I fussy cut her and paired her with a fun frame to create my own image to color. It is really what I wanted to do with this image, but my attention to detail had packed up and gone home by the time I got around to making today's card.
Here is the card I made awhile ago...

Super BG Francie! I totally understand not having the energy to craft after a long at and I imagine scraping stuff off teeth really having no energy left at the end of the day but you did great on this beauty.

Oh, Francie, this is beautiful and so very lovely! Sure, it's not your usual, but it's gorgeous still! I love this lovely vintage gal, and what a fabulous background using bleach and some lovely gold! Beautifully finished off with the pearls and very classic ribbon with a triple bow! WOW! Totally loving this card! Hugs! xoxo

Plain Jane is looking good on my computer and so is the background. Yes, I was expecting to see a lot of color when I clicked on your gallery. But, just the same, this is a very pretty creation. You are just good at making all kinds of cards. Love the added gold to the background.

Francie if you had been kidnapped by the Tim Holtz design team and were sending a card asking to be rescued...I would thought you were an imposter! I agree with Polly, YOU can do anything!!! This is gorgeous and I love your tip and the other card too.
