The Color Pallets site that Julie has sent us hunting for inspiration in is so fabulous. The color combo I chose is this one.
So, A million years ago ( it feels like) when I first got Copic Markers what impressed me about them was how fast you could lay down a layer of color and what got me about them was how little texture there was so, I had colored a few images over time and left them in a tin, and in January when there was another round of 30 day coloring challenge going around I seen those images, and started adding pencil texture over the top and in some cases some highlights with gel pens and thought OK maybe these can work on some cards some day... Your hedgie is beautifully colored and I love how the piece of herringbone in the bg picks up the look of your little guy's fur. Love those vibrant reds too.
