Today's colors are unusual together...seems I almost always have trouble w/ the purply colors. And though there's not much to this card, it gave me trouble from start to finish. Sigh...one of those days.
After I used the distress inks to sponge the bg, I used my Misti to stamp these silhouette wellies & umbrella. That was a chore all in itself. I tried a bunch of different inks & colors but the black chalk ink looked the best w/ this bg. I still had to add a few of the lines back in w/ a white gel pen. And a little color was added w/ a green & a pink marker.
Then I proceeded to somehow get ink in places I didn't mean to but thankfully, it was covered up by the placement of the images.
Thanks so much for looking. It's on my blog w/ closeups & the inside: The Write Stuff

Julie this is amazing!! I love your black umbrella and boots with the splash of color. Your raindrops - are really super cool. And of course your sentiment and bg are beautiful as well!!

Julie, this is fabulous! Love your scene with the soft sponging and great details. The umbrella and galoshes look perfect on there and the sentiment is just wonderful. So well done!!! Hugz

Your soft and smooth sponged background really sets off the images you've put on it! I also love the raindrop and grass stamping you added. All the little details on this card make it extra special! This card really brightens a very dull and rainy week of weather in my part of the world. :-) Looks wonderful!

Wow - this is beautiful. I love this sentiment and it seems you have proven it to be true in the way you kept "dancing in the puddles" of trouble this card was giving you and came out with a beauty in the end. You mastered this unusual colour combo too. I love this card.
Sometimes the ones that give us the most trouble reach out and grab the viewers most! I LOVE this! I jumped out of the gallery at me! The silhouettes look amazing with the gorgeous colors!
