Congratulations, Susy, for being selected as the Featured Stamper this week!! You have a fantastic gallery.
After spending time viewing a lot of Susy's gorgeous gallery, I kept coming back to this Boots Scootin' card, so I had to case it. The boots on Susy's and my cards are the only similar element.
I used the SU Out West stamp set for my hat and boots that I colored brown and turquoise. I added some mini feathers and a turquoise pearl onto the front of the hat to match the color of the boots.
I hung the hat onto a post and developed my sentiment, which also includes a feather. I assembled the pieces onto a panel that I sponged with Hero Arts ink, attached it to a piece of Tempting Turquoise CS, and attached the panels to a Delightful Dijon card base.
I am also submitting the card for Robin's (Stamperrobin) Free For All Challenge to "Go West Young Lady", which is a fantastic challenge.
Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment!!

Oh Bev, what a fantastic western card this is. Your sponging is just incredible (flawless) and so is the coloring of your pieces. I love the teal and brown combination, but it is the little details I love the most- the turquoise pearl and feather on the hat and the feather on your wonderful sentiment panel that I love the most. You have made an incredible card base on Susy's wonderful card. ~Karen.

Bev, I almost cased that same card (and still might as I am still in a western mood and need a thank you card or two). I love that stamp set you used, and I wish I had bought it! Great colors and great fence post. The sentiment is too much fun! Fun card.

Wow! Love those boots, Bev. What a fabulous western card. Super post for hanging the hat. Love the added feathers on the hat and sentiment. There is nothing better than turquoise for the western look. Love this card!
