Hi, sweet friends! I am happy to be joining in the fun of making Christmas cards this year for the Dirty Dozen Christmas Challenge here at SCS! I'm so excited to be making Christmas cards early -- finally!
I have to say that I lost my mojo and just had to push through this card. I received this absolutely darling stamp set from a dear friend, and I stamped it and decided to sit and color. I started with the holly leaves and was really struggling and then moved to adding some shadows to the leaves and the circle. Next, I colored the sweet Christmas cardinals. I've learned to color red near the end (anyone else learn that the hard way?). I added just a wee bit of Wink of Stella on the snow and the hat trim and pom-pom. The sentiment is from the set, and I used my MISTI to add it and then die cut the circle and adhered it to a red scalloped circle base. The base back is the same and adhered with SU's Fast Fuse. Wow, is that ever sticky/tricky stuff! (Any suggestions about how to use it well?) Anyway, this is done, and now I will hide it from DH till Christmas.
We hope you get inspired and join us as we make our 2018 Christmas cards throughout the year! We're having fun already. Much love, and warm hugs to you all! xoxo

Well that creative mojo grabbed it's suitcase and came right back home to you! Darling Christmas card, Cheryl. Like you, I've promised myself I will get all my Christmas cards done "before" next Christmas (smiling). You've got a great start with this cutie!
