This journal page is for Sabrina's fun technique challenge using paper towel. Plan A went to pot (copy paper adhered to kitchen paper towel is NOT a good fit).
Plan B is Sabrina's suggestion, to just use a portion of the paper towel. Hmmmm perhaps not this small amount, hope this still qualifies for the challenge.
This is one of the first digi stamps I purchased several years ago. She is coloured with Prismacolour pencils and Zest-it pencil blend. Her skirt has a Copic marker coloured over the top of the pencils.
Warning: Red pencils seem waxier than all the other colours, if you use a Copic marker on top of the red, your marker will need a jolly good clean.
The fussy cutting is a bit dodgy. She was originally adhered to paper towel so I had to pluck fluffy bits of towel away after I trimmed her.
I didn't do a backing panel, she has been glued straight onto a journal page, added doodled border and adhered some strips of the paper towel to look like sea-weedy sort of stuff.
Thank you for looking, I hope you have a happy, inky week.

This image is captivating and the bits of paper towel feel like unfurled crepe paper streamers left after a party.( I like how those little white stars peek out from behind them!) I wish I felt artistic enough to create such fun heads of hair - I LOVE what you do with these yet I can't ever imagine MYSELF picking up a neon pink pencil and saying - "yep - this will be the hair" - You ROCK, Susie!

very very cool sea-weedy stuff hee hee... she is fabulous, I love the colors and that you were able to save her after gluing to a paper towel first. I'd have ripped her head off for sure lol
