This card took a little time but I like how it turned out, not sure about the lace bu it can be removed if my daughter doesn't like it.
First i stamped the image and greeting with Versa Mark and then heat embossed the image with white embossing powder.
I then sponged the Paper Pizzas, Blushing Bride and Pink Pirouette onto the background leaving most of the image free. I then spritzed the ink and let it blend in lifting any of the ink from the image with paper towel. Last of all I coloured the image with the copic markers matted it and added the embellishments.
The colouring was a little time consuming but it always takes me to a happy place, it is like meditation for me.
The card is also for the teapot challenge peaceful place. My garden is my peaceful place especially tending to my roses. I didn't have a nice rose image so went with this Penny Black image.
The destination for this card is going to have to be my daughters 39th birthday.

Another jaw-dropping piece of artwork, Marg! Your fantastic sunflower painted piece was in my list of favorites (I thought I had listed them but somehow goofed, so mine just went into the Favs of the week now, sorry), and this one is equally as stunning but in a different style, which makes me in awe of your artistry even more! WOW!!!
I'm interested to know how it was to color over the background with your copics or did you leave it lighter with colors when you painted the background? Probably a silly question, my coloring is at such an elementary level compared to what you do, but I thought I'd ask...
The lace bow adds an interesting bit of texture, after all you've put on some sequins too so I think it all balances out. Your daughter will feel very special to receive a card that took so much time to create.
