My sweet Raleigh turned three yesterday and here is the card I made him. It's based on his favorite monster truck, Max D.
I started with the kraft paper with Itty Bitty Backgrounds "dirt" stamped all over it. Then I took one of the kids' monster trucks, inked up its wheels and drove all over the paper. That was fun. This week's sketch was perfect for this card because I could make the stripe to match the stripe on the Max D truck that kind of looks like flames. So I used a variation of the camouflage background technique. I crumpled up the yellow cardstock and rubbed Cantaloupe and Tangelo ink all over it. Then I printed out the sweet Monster Truck digi from PrettyGrafikDesign and cut it with my ScanNCut. Mounted him on a silver square that I drew in some tire tracks. Finished off with a banner with three flags and a three stamped on it. I made sure to distress a lot because I'm on the "Shabby Chic" TLC Challenge (#11).
