Hi, sweet friends! It's me again with another card this week. I used some new DP that I had hoped to use for a baby card (but all boys so far), so I made this card for a sketch challenge for Power Poppy's new Power & Spark Challenge in collaboration with PageMaps.com. I truly struggle with sketches, so this was a good creative stretch for me.
I chose the peonies and used the bitty flower bud to put in the heart shape on the sketch, and I colored it quickly and then die cut everything out. I am surprised that I actually enjoyed doing this one. Perhaps I'll have to try a sketch one of these days.
Thank you so much for taking a closer look at my card, and I hope you are keeping warm! It's pretty cool even here in South Florida! Warm hugs, sweet friends!

Love your layout, your papers, your terrific coloring, the fabulous image, and my most favorite part is that sweet little dangling heart with that adorable timy rose bud. Outstanding in my book.

What a truly gorgeous card this is Cheryl. The beautiful way you color your images totally brings them to life, and I so adore the little bud you added to the hanging heart. What a unique and heartfelt touch this adds. Your banners and bg dsp are gorgeous and totally showcase this wonderful bloom. Your stitched panels add that touch of elegance I love so much. Hugs! ~Karen.

I have missed a lot in tge gallery this past year, but I am so glad I spotted this beauty. As always, your coloring takes my breath away. That little heart with the flower is too cute. Your cards always have a heart warming, happy feel.
