This is my card for Cathy's WTUI challenge, which you can find HERE.
I used some of my new Purple Onion stamps from the Thanksgiving sale, though I added a sentiment banner from SU to finish decorating my front. Stamped the door, coloured with pencils. Stamped the lanterns again, coloured with pencils, added Glossy Accents and popped them up.
Stamped the wreath, the poinsettia and Silver; the wreath and the poinsettia are coloured with re-inkers. Added Liquid Pearls to Silver's earmuffs. Stamped the sentiment banner three times - on the card base, and on scraps of red and green for piecing. Matted the panel onto a layer of red card. The base is some old BG paper embossed with SU's knit ef, sponged with peacock feathers and stitched with a decorative stitch in white thread.
I love how this came out - and since all my cards are mailed out, I might just get DH to give me this one from him, that way I get to keep it ;-).

Ohhh - This brings back memories of childhood and the white clapboard house that we lived in - even though we lived on a farm out in the middle of nowhere my mother always decorated the front door with ribbons and greenery "just in case" someone happened by. Thanks for the memories . . . this is a wonderfully festive image and I surely do like the fancy stitchwork on the framing.

Well gosh I hope DH gives you this for Christmas, this is precious. Great job with stamping that banner in the red and green and cutting that down. WOWZA! Wonderful coloring and layering on this and it turned out super cute!
