I'm so excited to be back in the swing of things and making cards again! I had to take a bit of a break to take care of moving houses. It sure is a lot of work, but I love being settled where we are now.
Here is a card I made to join in with a slew of challenges here at SCS as well as one from Make It Crafty, called "GLOW".
I made a scene on my computer using the digital image Penguin Thinking of You from Whimsy in combination with the lantern from Make It Crafty's Christmas Elements pack.
I used Copics and then added some sponged inks on top, as well as a few coloured pencils in places. I even added some Gelatos in places here and there! So certainly this turned out to be mixed media! The falling snow was just a white gel pen overtop everything. I love playing with the light in a project and this was such a great exercise in making a glowing scene!
Pretty papers from Whimsy Stamps - from Christmas Jewel and Christmas Essentials.
Besides the MIC challenge, I am also entering into the following challenges at Splitcoaststampers:
IC625 The Company Store
F4A405 Words To Live By
WT663 Thanksgiving Leftovers
SC672 Sketch Challenge
Hope you are enjoying this lovely season of snow and joy!

Words fail me, Crissy, when it comes to expressing how out of this world gorgeous this card is! I keep going back to look at it. So many details and such talented coloring. So very glad you are back at your art table, and sharing your gift with us. I think maybe if I look at your work long enough, I can pick up some tips. So lovely to see you here.

Your talent for capturing light is amazing, this card reminds me of a Thomas Kinkade painting . . . this is positively stunning Crissy . . . you should be so proud!
