I checked out all the current SCS challenges before I began my birthday card for my son's long-time girl friend. Following are the challenges that helped me create my a Seattle Seahawks/ City of Seattle themed card.
IC662 - Inspiration Challenge: Choose something from the "Frontgate" website that inspires you to make a card. I chose "The Galaxy Football Game Toss," seen at this web address: https://www.frontgate.com/galaxy-foo...s-game/1083110, because it gave me the idea to make the Seahawks birthday needed in November. Even the game's coloring reminds me of the Seahawks as it is very similar to their colors.
MMTPT484 - Teapot Tuesday: the challenge is to create a card depicting apples or a city, i.e., The Big Apple. Mine, of course, will be Seattle, Washington, home of the Space Needle (built for the 1962 World's Fair) and the Seattle Seahawks.
F4A402 - Free for All: "Did You Say the Kitchen Sink?" Challenges us to make a card with lots of "stuff" or layers or both. My card is a "sink full" of Seattle, Washington and the Seattle Seahawks football team with layering and die-cuts galore and a few extra sequins thrown in for good measure!
Ingredients: Papers: Stampin' Up--Night of Navy cs; The Paper Company--Textured Linen cs (Cool Mint pack); Scrapbook Customs--Poster Diagonal Mascot/ Grungy Dots. Darice Glitter paper--Silver, Lime (color Copic modified). Dies: Savvy Dies--Space Needle (Lg); MemoryBox--Cityscape Nightline; QuickKutz--Washington. The Paper Company: Stickabilities--Football. Pretty Pink Posh: Sequins.

What a fun card, Carlene. Love the personalization, colors, and details!
