The paint finally dried for my Technique Lovers challenge card! I used Tim Holtz Tall Pines embossing Folder on white card panel then painted over the panel with Weathered Wood Distress Paint and let it dry. When it was dry, I sanded over the trees and then sponged Frayed Burlap Distress ink over them. I wiped over the area with a baby wipe to remove any ink from the blue. I added light blue Tiny Twinkles to the trees and stamped my sentiment.
This was a fun technique today Sabrina and I think I'll try it again with some other embossing folders!

That's probably my most favorite card EVER! And something about that particular sentiment just seems soooo perfect. I have those trees, but it takes a REAL artist to make them so significant. I don't get the technique, will have to investigate that, because i just bought a set of acrylic paints, when what a MEANT to buy was a set of watercolors. When a card satisfies my soul like that one does, I want to discover what makes that happen. i think it's in your genes.
