Lisa has challenged us today to use old stamps that we still love. I added a little twist to today's challenge, I wanted to use only my oldest stamps and use some that I've never used on a card before.
This is the oldest stamp that I own. I've had it for 7 years. I bought it to use to add a little flair to the envelopes for my wedding invitations (I stamped it in pink on my orange envelopes). Since I bought this for my wedding, I decided I had to make a wedding card.
I stamped it all over with Versa Mark and embossed with glitter powder. Then I chose this stamp from Four Frames that I've never used. I've had this set for almost two and a half years. I inherited it and many others from my friend and my card making obsession officially began. I colored it very lightly with pink and added Wink of Stella, then fussy cut and also fussy cut a frame of darker silver around it. I toyed with the idea of adding ribbon, but I had to get to work. I do like it as is, though.

What a very elegant wedding card Jen!!! Your flourish stamp is lovely and the way you embossed it on the shimmer paper makes the image all the more elegant! It's so nice to extend the use of your stamp beyond your special day!

Love it as is.....and the stamping on the background! I have the Four Frames stamp set, only used a couple of times! Both together make a beautiful card!
